My daughter picked up a few of these plastic boots for me from Target. I was excited to get them to transform them into something cute!
The first thing I did was spray paint one of the boots in a beautiful teal color.
I gathered the embellishments I wanted to use and then the transformation happened. I knew what ribbon I wanted to add. I purchased some flowers from the Dollar tree. This is the end result! how cute is the vintage truck farmhouse ribbon!
How cute is this boot?! I just love it! I have very little money invested in it and it now looks like something you would but in a store. This boot makeover was so fast and EASY to do!
I have a few more of these boots, be on the lookout for my Christmas in July with one of these boots 😉
I live close to a lake so lake decor is very popular here. I created this lake farmhouse beads tag to add to a tiered tray but, it was also be a nice addition to table or shelf decor.
Below are the supplies used for this project. I buy my craft paint at Hobby Lobby or Walmart.
I started by painting the beads. I put plain wood beads I purchased here and added some acrylic paint to a Ziplock baggie.
Add a touch of water just the thin the paint a bit. Once the beads and paint are in the bag, shake the bag until the beads are coated.
Once I painted all of the beads, I let them dry on a paper towel. I am okay with the uneven color on some of the beads. I like the distressed look. Another way to paint the beads is to string them onto some jute or a skewer.
While the beads were drying, I started decorate the tag. I painted Mod Podge on the tag and then dried it.
I used this cute napkin I found here to decoupage the tag. Napkins are either 2 or 3 ply. Pull apart all of the layers to get the one that has the print on it.
Cut the napkin to the desired size and lay on top of the tag once the mod podge is dry.
I used parchment paper and put on top of the napkin. Once I had the napkin where I wanted it, I used a small iron and gently went if the napkin. This will adhere the napkin to the tag.
Once the napkin is bonded to the tag, I use a small sander to sand the excess napkin away. I pitched the mini sander here.
Now, it is time to add the beads to the tag.
I tied the string to the tag and added the beads in the order I wanted them. Once I was finished, I wrapped the string around my fingers several times to make a tassel.
The final touch was a screen transfer that I used and can be purchased here.
So easy and so much fun to make! If you have any questions, let me know!
Do you decorate for the 4th of July? I love patriotic decor!
I made this patriotic decor set that would be perfect for tiered trays or just to sit on a shelf. This set can be purchased here. This set is so easy to paint and assemble!
I used acrylic craft paint and makeup sponges I purchased here.

Do you do anything special for St. Patrick’s Day? I never have except wear something green. For the times that I forgot, I always used my green eyes as an excuse to not get pinched 😊 Anyone else do that?!
Tiered trays are some of my favorite kits and crafts that I sell. I just love cutting, assembling them and painting them!!
Today I am sharing a St. Patrick’s tiered tray set I made to commemorate the holiday. I just love the fun colors! This one is sold out but I have many more sets available and will be adding more to my store!!
Gumball machines are all the rage now to decorate with! They are so much fun. Who says gumball machines have to have gumballs in them? I will take a gumball machine of luck my self 😉
I enjoy making tiered trays so much! I have had many people ask me how I make the polka dots on many of the wood sets I make. This set of embossing tools is perfect!
This is another fun tiered tray set that I made. It is available here.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

May the strength of God pilot us, may the wisdom of God instruct us. May the hand of God protect us, may the word of God direct us. May thy Salvation, O Lord, be always ours this day and for evermore. Amen
A friend of mine recommended the movie Running The Bases and I am so glad she did! Whew… what an inspirational movie it is! My friend shared what I am going to share with you. It really touched me and I hope it does you as well.
I will not “give away” the movie but, I want to share an excerpt from it. This is not quote for quote but it will give you the jest of it.
There was a man that got arrested and sent to jail. During the time he was in jail, another inmate approached him with a “bad” attitude. You know, the type of inmate that you do not want to mess with, that is intimidating.
The two men were sitting at a table. The newly incardinated inmate asked the intimidating inmate what is the most valuable card in a deck of cards. The inmate relied “the ace of spades”. The man threw the card on the floor and stomped on it. He then picked it up and asked the inmate if it is still the most valuable card. He said “yes”. Then the man crumpled the card in his hand and uncrumpled and smoothed it out. He ask again, “is this still the most valuable card?” The inmate answered again, yes. The last thing the man did is tore the card in half and asked if it still the most valuable card in the deck. The inmate replied “no, not now, it is torn in half”. At that point the man explained to the inmate that he is wrong.
The card may be torn in half but, it can be put back together and will still be just as valuable.
When you feel like you have been stepped on, crumbled in a ball or torn in half please remember, you are still just a valuable and you can be put back together.
We may have all felt the way that inmate did at some point but, the good news is God will and can put you and me back together!
fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Farmhouse decor is always a popular style of home decor regardless of if you live on a farm or not!
The wood used was cut with my laser machine to cut out these “towels” and interchangeable towel stand.
The wood I used maple 1/4 plywood for my base and cutouts.
I painted the surfaces first using craft paint. I used these transfers and chalk paste for the patterns.
Have a blessed day!

I made this adorable tiered tray décor for Valentines Day! Tiered tray décor is so easy and fun to create! Also, one thing I love about the tiered tray sets I make is that they are easy to store until the next time I will use them.
This is the glue that I use the most. I will warn you, it dries fast! But, I like it much better than super glue. Ii use these embossing tools to create the polka dots on the wood pieces. So easy!!
Have a blessed day!!
