A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Tennessee to a friends house that was hosting a weekend long women’s retreat called ” You Are Enough”. The first day all of us went to the Dollywood Theme Park. I had never been there but, a lot of people I know have been and love it! So, I was looking forward to it.
When you first get into the park you are greeted with this amazing display of a colorful display of fall leaves! It was so pretty!
There were so many leaves in this display, I could not get the entire display in one photo.
As we started walking through the park, there is a booth that has some of the prettiest ornaments I have ever seen! There was an ornament for about every occasion, occupation, sport etc. We looked at all of the ornaments for awhile. I love ornaments of all styles! They would personalize them for free! That is a great deal! One of the ladies I was with purchased an ornament for each of us in the group. I was so very humbled! That was so kind and generous of her and I will proudly display it on my tree this year. It will be a forever reminder of an amazing weekend with amazing women!!

Along with admiring all of the fall decorations, we attended a few of the musical show. They were awesome!! One of my favorite shows was a band called The Kingdom Heirs. If you get a chance to attend their show, I highly recommend it! I truly enjoyed all of the shows!
I wish we could have seen the park after dark when all of the fall lights were on but, It started raining and we did not prepare for that. Also, I did nor ride any of the roller coasters due to I did not like to ride roller coasters I am not familiar with because I do not want to chance hurting my back. My old body just doesn’t handle theme park rides like it used too 😉
Being my first trip to Dollywood and not knowing what to expect, I really enjoyed it! My husband and I are talking about going during the Christmas holidays to see all of the Christmas decorations. If you are in the area of Dollywood, you should check it out. I am sorry I waited so long to visit.
