My husband and I have always wanted to eat Kansas City barbecue in Kansas City, Kansas. Well, we finally got the opportunity to do just that!
We traveled out west and our first stop was Joe’s Kansas City Barbecue. It is located inside of an old gas station in downtown Kansas City.
Most of the cars in the parking lot were from out of state. People visit Joe’s from all over the country!
The menu was extensive and we really wanted to try everything 😀 My husband and I both got different meals so we could try a variety of barbecue’s.
I ordered ribs, brisket and onion rings. The ribs had a dry rub barbecue on them but, they had their own barbecue sauces that you could add. So good!
My husband ordered brisket, pull pork and French fries. It was delicious as well! The amount of food with each dinner was enough for two people!
Joe’s barbecue did not disappoint! I highly recommend checking this place out if you ever get the chance!
As we left the restaurant to head to Nebraska, we passed this painted wall I thought was cool.
